Eligibility

Who can apply?

AGPEX programs are designed for motivated young people with an interest in agriculture and international experience.

🎓 Interns (Students)

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant agricultural university course or higher-education program

🌱 Trainees (Recent graduates)

  • Recently graduated from a relevant agricultural program

  • Maximum of 12 months of relevant professional experience

💼 Young Professionals

  • Hold a relevant agricultural degree

  • Maximum of 5 years of relevant professional experience

All applicants must:

  • 🌎 Have sufficient proficiency in English or Spanish to participate effectively in the program. For programs in Brazil, Portuguese may also be used.

  • 🛂 Hold a valid passport and meet the immigration requirements applicable to the destination country

  • ✅ Be able to meet the professional, behavioral and legal requirements of AGPEX and the host organization —> Learn more

  • 🩺 Be in sufficient health to safely participate in the activities and responsibilities of the program

  • 🎯 Be genuinely motivated to learn, adapt and participate in an international agricultural environment

  • 🎂 Be no older than 30 years at the time of application

Acceptance

Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee acceptance into an AGPEX program. Each application is assessed individually based on the applicant's profile, program requirements and available opportunities.
